After a full day of exploration, return to camp for dinner and a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.
Overnight: Ikweta Safari Camp
After breakfast, your journey continues north into the dramatic landscapes of Samburu National Reserve. The environment changes completely — dry savannahs, rocky outcrops, and the Ewaso Nyiro River create a striking new safari setting.
Samburu is famous for its rare northern species, often called the “Samburu Special Five”:

Today you travel to the world-famous Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located in the Laikipia region. This is one of Kenya’s most important wildlife conservation areas and home to the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa.
After arrival, head out on an afternoon game drive through open savannah and woodland. Ol Pejeta offers fantastic Big Five opportunities and is one of the few places where you can see the last remaining northern white rhinos.
Optional visits to the chimpanzee sanctuary make this day especially unique.
Overnight: Sweetwaters Serena Camp or Pelican House
A full day dedicated to wildlife and conservation. This is one of the best places in Kenya for close rhino encounters.
Beyond rhinos, you may also see lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and buffalo. The floodlit waterhole at camp often attracts animals after dark, creating magical evening wildlife moments.
